The main worry with the digipak design is that you will be too limited in terms of the sources you reference in your research. You will need to make sure that you refer quite heavily to your own specific genre, but you can look further than that for ideas. To that end i have added a diverse selection of album covers from different genres. The examples in this post (and the ones that follow) should help to get you thinking about the kinds of images you could use and the sorts of layout that can be utilised.
